Favourite Instagram Pictures of March and April

I seem to have forgotten my favourite Instagram pictures from March so I have added them to the April ones. This spring I have been dreaming of light and warm spring and summer days and I think it shows in the posts I like. In addition, I have been enjoying all the empowering messages online, especially to do with feminism and sustainability.

What were your favourite Instagram pictures this spring?

Happy Favourites of the Week – Spring Time

Visiting Friends – We had a fun night with friends playing Cards Against Humanity with visiting friends. We hadn’t had laughs quite as good in a long time! It was an absolutely fun night!

Easter Weekend – Although, I was working on a couple of the days during the Easter break it was still amazingly relaxing weekend full of delicious food and chocolate.

New Deodorant – I absolutely love my deodorant from Fine, but with its price tag I am happy that I’ve found another one, closer to home that has a much better price tag for my wallet! Evolve beauty have recently come out with a deodorant which is lovely! It is moisturising and doesn’t have a strong scent, in addition, it actually works and it’s made out of all natural ingredients. What more could you want! I do warn though, it has bicarbonate of soda. I wasn’t sure if my armpits could handle it and that is why I haven’t tried most natural deodorants in the UK, but Evolve also have small sample packs which helps you try whether it is suitable for you!

Spring Flowers – Spring brings spring flowers and oh how I love looking at them and smelling them, it is just such a delight! Having fresh tulips in the house lifts your mood like nothing else! I can’t wait until mongolia and cherry trees start to flower in front of our house. I’ve seen them flowering elsewhere, but I live slightly higher up and it comes later here.

A Lifecycle of a T-shirt – This little Ted-ed clip was great at explaining the process a garment goes through and how it pollutes the world. Although, I would’ve loved if they added how sustainable fashion is different to show a comparison! Still, the clip is very informative and interesting, especially for people who do not work in the fashion industry.

I finally finished Women Who Run With The Wolves – It felt like a process going through this book. It is not an easy read, but then again it is not supposed to be. It is a book full of ancient women’s wisdom for empowering women to be themselves and understand the psychological cycles they go through at different times of their life. It taught me a lot and I really recommend everybody to read it!

Cat’s New Scratching Post – Actually it is their first proper scratching post. I wanted them to stop scratching our couch! So I finally got a small scratching post with a little toy in it and two places to sit and it is slowly gaining acceptance with the cats. One of them loves to scratch it and the other one loves another spot for him to sit and stare at us from.

Favourite Instagram Pictures of January

I liked so many pictures in January, which made it fairly difficult to reduce the number of images for this post. So sorry for the picture overload! As always I was very inspired by flowers and pastel colours. In addition, this month I liked interesting female pictures with various shapes and positions, and a lot of empowering messages. These Instagram accounts are absolutely amazing and I encourage you to check them out!

Favourites Instagram Pictures of December 2017

With the gloomy grey rainy days, I keep inspired with beautiful pictures as always. In December I was mostly inspired by quite snowy pictures accompanied by beautiful deep colours and illustrations as always.

Share some favourite pictures of yours in the comment box below, I would love to see what you like to look at!

Favourite Insta Pics From October

This month as I have been so busy I didn’t have quite as much time to check up on Instagram pics or pics weren’t as good this month. I still managed to get a selection of very varied pics which I liked this month. Most of the pics are not very autumny, but they represent being in the moment and enjoying life!

Happy Favourites of the Week – Confidence

Networking Night – Networking, it’s the dirty word in the career life and the thing we should all be doing to get ahead. It is also what I have been afraid of so far! I am not big on socialising in big groups of people, where most are strangers who I don’t know. I am not big on putting myself into other people’s conversations and I feel pushy if I ask people about theirs (although apparently, I shouldn’t feel that way, people like it!). This year I finally realised that if I want to get ahead in as a freelancer I need to work to get to know people and get my name out there. So when the first opportunity that I could really take, presented itself I pushed myself, even in the exhausted state that I was on the day, to go to this event. I knew few people in there so it didn’t feel quite as scary. The night was a success. I got few new enquiries into my freelance work, potential clients, and I got introduced to many people who had apparently already heard of me and my work. Maybe I should be going to more of these nights?

Confidence – It is a big confidence boost when other people notice that you are good at something, but it is even a bigger confidence boost when you realise it yourself and believe in it! It can often be difficult to admit to oneself that they are good at something, it can feel like bragging. But I think we should definitely be able to recognise, at least to ourselves, that we are improving in whatever that we do.

This post about Healthy Laundry – Ecocult wrote a great article about how to do your laundry in a healthy way and I am loving it!!

I got my ring back – Last Happy Favourites of the week I told that I got engaged, well since then my ring has been resized, which wasn’t done properly and the stone fell out. Thankfully I found it so we took it to the jewellers to get it fixed. It took over a week, but now I finally got it back! Funny how such a thing can feel so much a part of me after such a short time. Every day I felt like something was missing from my finger. I guess it really belongs there!

Lovely new dark chocolate – Green & Black’s Velvet edition dark chocolate with salted caramel is to die for! The salted caramel is not too sweet or too salty and it compliments the dark chocolate excellently. It just melts in your mouth. Loving it!!

Flowers from friends – The past couple of weeks people have been sending us congratulation cards and wishes, but one of my good friends brought in this beautiful bouquet, which made me smile every time I saw it. It is a great lift up within a busy hectic week!

Power – The book was very interesting and had a fascinating premise! I enjoyed reading it, even if it wasn’t my all-time favourite book. It raised good questions and a different way to look at feminism and equality. An excellent read that I do recommend to everybody!

Favourite Instagram Pics From June

When I started compiling these pics I thought at first how different they were compared to May, however, it seems they aren’t that different. There are still a lot of plants, although the colouring is leaning more towards pastel, rather than bright pink. I have few illustration here still, but not quite as many. This month I’ve definitely concentrated more on the positive message and sustainability, in addition to some decor dreams and office inspiration. I hope you are visually as inspired as I am!

What were your favourite pics in June? Let me know in the comment box below!
